Charles passed away in 2017 at the age of 20, after an 8-month battle with brain cancer. Charles was passionate about volunteering for Croton EMS and we established this Scholarship to honor Charles and to reward graduating seniors who show similar passion and dedication toward Croton EMS.

Christina and Evelyn both joined Croton EMS as Freshmen and have volunteered almost 300 hours each through their active participation in training sessions, ambulance ride-alongs, parades, blood drives, and other events. In addition, both served as officers of the Youth Corps for 2 years: Christina as Lieutenant, and Evelyn as Captain.

Christina will be attending the University of Connecticut, following a pre-med track; Evelyn will be attending The Catholic University of America, studying Psychology and Theology. We look forward to having them volunteer with us during breaks and summer vacations.
